people say it's a day where you can show your adoration
and tell them about your emotion
yet some people are disappointed
and others saddened.


a day where boys and girls passes notes saying
"would you be my valentine???"
another day being rubbed in the face for being single
and for the couples so show some love.


yet. we thank st. valentine for this day
where we are being screwed up by the one we love.
and for the happy people to have someone to share it.
